Overnight Vehicle Fire Causes $50,000 in Damages in Marydel, Maryland
Caroline County, MD - On April 5, 2026, at approximately 1:46 a.m., a vehicle fire occurred at 325 Crown Stone Road in Marydel, Caroline County. The incident involved a 2015 Mercedes sedan. The fire was initially discovered by the vehicle owner.
Ten firefighters from the Marydel Volunteer Fire Company responded to the single-alarm incident.
Upon arrival, it was determined that the fire originated in the passenger compartment of the sedan. The fire was brought under control in 15 minutes.
The estimated property loss is currently valued at approximately $50,000.
