Pennsylvania Man Arrested on Talbot County Court Warrant
Talbot County, MD - On October 13, 2026, the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested a 22-year-old Pennsylvania man who was wanted on a court issued warrant.
The man is Ian Ovideo Lopez. He was wanted because he didn't show up for a court date earlier this year. That court date was a hearing for a violation of probation. Lopez had been on probation for a theft charge.
When Lopez missed that hearing, the District Court for Talbot County put out a warrant for his arrest. The warrant was issued on April 2, 2026, so it had been active for more than six months before deputies caught up with him.
After the arrest, deputies took Lopez to the Talbot County Central Booking facility. He was processed there and then brought before a District Court Commissioner for his first appearance.
Lopez was ordered to be held in custody while he waited for the next step in court.
The next day, October 14, Lopez went before Judge Karen R. Ketterman. The judge set his bail at $10,000.
This isn't the only case Lopez is facing. He also has an open case from a separate incident, and he is being held on a $10,000 bail in that case too. At the time of this publication, Lopez was still in jail.
