Salisbury Man Sentenced to 45 Years in Drug and Gun Case

Salisbury, MD - A Salisbury, Maryland man will spend decades in prison after a jury found him guilty in a drug and gun case. The case began with a search warrant nearly three years ago.

On September 18, 2026, Kambreh Jones, 50, of Salisbury, was sentenced in the Circuit Court for Wicomico County. Associate Judge Matthew A. Maciarello gave Jones 45 years in prison.

Ten of those years are without the possibility of parole. That means Jones cannot be considered for parole during that part of his sentence.

The investigation goes back to December 21, 2023. That day, the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office served a search and seizure warrant in the 700 block of Meadow Wood Drive, Salisbury, Maryland.

Inside, deputies found a regulated firearm and a large amount of cocaine. They also found oxycodone pills, a large amount of cannabis, and equipment used to make and sell drugs.

Jones went to trial in April 2026. After two days, a jury convicted him of Firearm Drug Trafficking, Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Manufacture Cocaine, Illegal Possession of a Regulated Firearm, and related charges.

Wicomico County State's Attorney Jamie L. Dykes shared a statement after the sentencing: "The scourge of the criminal drug trade, and the addiction, violence and misery that follow it as night follows day, is a plague upon our community. This investigation, prosecution, verdict and sentence send a clear message that my Office and our affiliated law enforcement agencies will not tolerate this lawlessness."

Dykes thanked the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office for its work on the investigation. Dykes also thanked Senior Assistant State's Attorney Patrizia J. Coletta, who prosecuted the case.
