Salisbury Police Charge Teen After Road Rage With Gun

Salisbury, MD - On August 1, 2026 at approximately 7:45 p.m., the Salisbury Police Department responded to Mount Hermon Road for a reported road rage incident.

Police say two juvenile males held a victim at gunpoint near the Burger King in that area.

When officers arrived, both suspects ran from the scene on foot. Officers initiated a foot pursuit and chased after them.

During the pursuit, one of the juveniles dropped a bookbag. Inside, police say they found a P80 handgun along with drugs packaged in a way consistent with the intent to sell them.

Both juveniles were eventually caught and detained. The one who had the bookbag is a 16 year old male. That 16 year old was charged as an adult. He was later taken to the Wicomico County Detention Center.

The second juvenile was released to the custody of a guardian.
