Seaford Man Arrested After Machete Threat Report

Seaford, DE - On July 30, 2026, officers from the Seaford Police Department and Delaware State Police responded to the 300 block of North Hall Street. They were responding to a report of a juvenile being held captive in a bedroom by an adult wielding two machetes.

Officers arrived and cleared the residence. They confirmed that the juvenile and everyone else inside was safe.

Police then learned the subject had fled into the surrounding community. Officers searched the area and quickly located him.

The suspect was identified as Youvensley Estimable. He was taken into custody without incident.

A search of the nearby area turned up two machetes. Estimable was then transported to a nearby medical facility for evaluation and treatment.

A warrant has been issued for Estimable on several charges. He faces Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, a Felony B charge, along with Aggravated Criminal Mischief, a Felony D charge.

He is also charged with Aggravated Menacing, a Felony E charge, and Unlawful Imprisonment 1st Degree, a Felony G charge. A charge of Terroristic Threatening, a Misdemeanor A charge, rounds out the warrant.

The warrant will be served once Estimable is cleared from the medical facility.
