Seaford Man Arrested After Punching Mother of Three

Seaford, DE - On September 17, 2026 at approximately 5:05 p.m., Seaford Police officers responded to the 700 block of Kimbrough Ct for a reported assault. Officers were told the suspect had left the immediate area but remained nearby.

The investigation found that an adult male approached an apartment window, struck it, and yelled profanities at three young children playing inside. The children's mother saw the interaction and went outside to confront the man.

During the confrontation, the man allegedly shoved the woman and punched her in the face. Officers observed bruising around her mouth, along with swelling and an open wound to her tongue.

Emergency medical personnel responded to evaluate her injuries. A witness gave a statement that matched the victim's account.

Officers located the 35-year-old suspect near the apartment complex and took him into custody without incident. He was transported to the Seaford Police Department for processing.
