Seaford Police Seek Man Who Harassed Worker
Seaford, DE - On September 17, 2026 at approximately 4:50 p.m., the Seaford Police Department responded to a report of harassment at the Chick-fil-A located in Seaford, Delaware. A female employee was taking out the trash to the dumpster area when an unknown male approached her.
The man made several unwanted personal comments to the employee. He also asked her questions about her age and relationship status.
The employee said the man positioned himself and his bicycle in a way that blocked her from comfortably leaving the enclosed area. He left the area after he noticed a police vehicle nearby.
The man is described as a black male in his early 20s with a slim build and low-cut hair. He was wearing a gray or blue shirt and riding a BMX-style bicycle that may have had a white frame or white tires.
Seaford Police reviewed available surveillance footage from the area. Officers also contacted nearby businesses to try and gather additional video.
The incident remains under investigation. Police are still working to identify the man involved.
