Seaford Woman Accused of Kidnapping and Assaulting Passenger During Chatham Drive Crash

Seaford, DE - On September 14, 2026, at approximately 9:50 p.m., Seaford Police officers responded to the 500 block of Chatham Drive In Seaford, Delaware for a hit-and-run collision involving a parked vehicle.

During the investigation, officers learned the crash may be connected to a reported abduction involving a black Chevrolet Tahoe.

Investigators say a woman approached an occupied vehicle and began striking the driver-side window. As the driver tried to leave, the woman allegedly jumped onto the vehicle and kicked the windshield while it was moving, causing it to shatter.

With the driver's view blocked, the vehicle struck a parked car. The woman then allegedly pulled a female passenger from the vehicle, forced her into the Tahoe, and drove away.

The victim told police she was taken to a boat ramp, where she was assaulted. She was then driven to another location near Concord Road, where a second physical altercation happened.

The victim escaped by jumping from the moving vehicle. She later got a ride back to the Chatham Drive area and suffered road rash along with injuries to her wrist and ankle.

At approximately 11:32 p.m., officers learned the suspect had returned to the Chatham Drive area before leaving again in the Tahoe. Seaford Police found the vehicle near Ross Station Road and Atlanta Road and conducted a felony traffic stop.

The 19-year-old driver was taken into custody and transported to the Seaford Police Department for processing.
