Seaford, DE - On November 5, 2026, the Seaford Police Department responded to the parking lot of Walmart in Seaford, DE, for a domestic dispute.

Police say it started as an argument inside a home. One person decided to leave and took their child with them in a vehicle.

That's when the suspect got into her own vehicle and went after them. The victim pulled into the Walmart parking lot. The victim and the child then got out of the vehicle.

The suspect pulled up a short time later. Police say the two started arguing again right there in the parking lot.

According to police, the suspect made demands of the victim. When the victim didn't go along with them, police say she drove her vehicle into the victim's vehicle on purpose.

The victim and the child were standing close by when it happened.

Officers took the suspect into custody without any trouble. She is a 28-year-old woman from Seaford, Delaware.

Her name and photo are being withheld under Delaware House Bill 59. It's a new state law that took effect on October 21, 2026.

She now faces eight charges, and two of them are felonies. The felony charges are aggravated menacing and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony.

She is also charged with endangering the welfare of a child, criminal mischief, and reckless driving. Police added charges of harassment, disorderly conduct, and breach of release.

A breach of release charge is filed when someone is accused of breaking the rules a court set for them in an earlier release.

She was taken before a Justice of the Peace Court. She was then released on $80,000 unsecured bail.
