Shots Fired at Georgetown Home, Police Seek Tips
Georgetown, DE - Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting at a Georgetown residence that left three people shaken but unharmed Tuesday morning.
Troopers responded around 9:10 a.m. on May 26, 2026, to the 24000 block of Lawson Road after someone reported that a house had been struck by gunfire. When officers arrived, they found that an unknown suspect had fired multiple shots at the home.
Three people were inside when the shots were fired. No one was hurt.
Troop 4's Criminal Investigations Unit is handling the case. Detectives have not released a description of a suspect or a motive, and the investigation is ongoing.
