Snow Hill Bicycle Crash Sends Juvenile to Trauma Center

Worcester County, MD - On July 31, 2026, the Snow Hill Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a bicycle at the intersection of Market Street and Washington Street in Snow Hill, Maryland.

Officers arrived to find a juvenile male who had been riding the bicycle alone. Bystanders were already helping him when police got there.

The juvenile's injuries were considered serious and required aviation transport. Snow Hill Volunteer Fire Company and paramedics treated him at the scene.

Maryland State Police Aviation flew the juvenile to a trauma center for further treatment. The driver of the vehicle stopped right away and was interviewed by officers on scene.

Preliminary information from the scene and witnesses shows the juvenile was riding his bicycle into oncoming traffic. He was struck by a vehicle heading north on Market Street.
