Spray Paint Damage To Delmar Restroom Leads To One Person Being Charged

Delmar, MD - On June 27, 2026, at approximately 9:03 PM, officers from the Delmar Police Department were conducting a property check at Gordy Park, located on S. Pennsylvania Avenue in Delmar, Maryland.

Officers located damage to one of the restrooms. The damage was caused by spray paint.

Officers immediately conducted an investigation and began reviewing surveillance footage from the park.

They were able to positively identify a suspect, later identified as Jorge Enrique Quiles Magana, an 18-year-old male.

A charging document was filed through the District Court commissioner's office, and a criminal summons was issued for one count of Malicious destruction of property under $ 1,000 in value.
