St. Michaels Man Charged With Child Abuse and Assault

Talbot County, MD - A St. Michaels man is facing child abuse and assault charges after Talbot County deputies arrested him this week.

On October 29, 2026, the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested Corben Alexander Otton, 37, of St. Michaels, MD.

A warrant for his arrest came out of the District Court for Talbot County that same day. It lists two charges, second-degree child abuse and assault.

After the arrest, deputies took Otton to the Talbot County Central Booking facility. He was processed there.

Otton then went before a District Court Commissioner for his first appearance. Otton was released on a $25,000 unsecured personal bond.
