St. Michaels Woman Arrested After Family Dispute Turns Physical
Talbot County, MD - A family argument in St. Michaels turned into a criminal case this week. Talbot County Sheriff's deputies say a verbal disagreement escalated into an assault on Radcliff Avenue.
Deputies responded to the 800 block of Radcliff Avenue on June 25, 2026, for a reported domestic assault. According to the Sheriff's Office, a verbal altercation between family members became physical.
A 19-year-old male was struck during the incident.
Clarissa Ramirez-Arellano, 21, of St. Michaels, was identified as the person who struck him. Deputies say they observed injuries consistent with an assault when they arrived.
Based on those observations, they placed Ramirez-Arellano under arrest.
She now faces a single count of assault. Ramirez-Arellano was taken to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing. She then had an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.
Following that appearance, Ramirez-Arellano was released on an unsecured bond. She is expected to face the charge in court at a later date.
