Stolen Texas Vehicle Found in Talbot County, Cambridge Man Arrested
Talbot County, MD - A Cambridge man is facing theft charges after Talbot County Sheriff's Office deputies spotted him getting into a stolen vehicle in Easton on May 9, 2026.
Deputies were in the area of Mary's Court when they noticed a parked motor vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Montgomery, Texas. The vehicle stood out because it was flagged in law enforcement databases as stolen.
Sir Branson Miller-Reed, 29, of Cambridge was observed approaching the vehicle and attempting to drive away. Deputies moved in and placed him under arrest before he could leave the area.
Miller-Reed was charged with motor vehicle theft and theft. He was taken to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing and an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.
Following his appearance before the commissioner, Miller-Reed was held pending further action by the courts.
It remains unclear how the vehicle traveled from Montgomery, Texas to Talbot County, Maryland. That is part of what investigators will likely continue to look into as the case moves forward.
