Surveillance Footage Leads to Citation in Easton Mattress Dumping

Talbot County, MD - On March 6, 2026, officers were dispatched to Two Pair Collectibles at 8223 Elliott Road in Easton, Maryland. The response was in reference to a complaint of illegal dumping.

Surveillance footage from the location showed a male subject discarding a mattress into the business's dumpster. This unauthorized dumping caused the business to incur a fine from their trash collection company due to the size of the item.

The investigation continued over the following weeks. On March 30, 2026, the suspect was located by authorities. He was identified as 39-year-old William R. Ganley 3rd of Greensboro, Maryland.

Ganley was issued a Uniform Criminal Citation for illegal dumping and was subsequently released.
