Suspect Arrested on Warrant for Arson and Mass Violence Threats

Cambridge, MD - On February 28, 2026, at approximately 1:32 a.m., CPD officers arrested 54-year-old Dale Jerome Giddens of Georgetown, Delaware. The arrest was executed in connection with an active Talbot County District Court arrest warrant.

Giddens was formally charged with making an arson threat and a threat of mass violence.

These charges stem from a prior incident that occurred on November 24, 2025. The initial incident took place at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center in Easton.

The investigation into this matter was conducted by the Easton Police Department. Following his arrest and processing, Giddens was released on a $2,000 unsecured bond.
