Suspect Sought After Armed Robbery and Shooting at Parksley Royal Farms

Accomack County, VA - The Accomack County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that took place late Wednesday night at the Royal Farms in Parksley.

According to W. Todd Wessells, deputies responded to a reported shooting at the store on April 2, 2026, at approximately 10:56 p.m. When they arrived, they determined that an armed robbery had occurred.

Investigators said the suspect entered the store while several people were inside. As he approached the counter, he removed a firearm from a bag and fired one round at a window. He then demanded money from the cashier and left the area on foot. No injuries were reported.

Deputies have identified the suspect as Noah Christopher Lamphier, 28, of New Church. Warrants have been obtained charging him with armed robbery, shooting in an occupied building, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a violent felon.

Lamphier is not currently in custody. He was last known to be on foot on the east side of U.S. Route 13 in the Parksley area. Authorities said he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about Lamphier's location is urged to contact law enforcement immediately. Officials advised the public not to approach him.

The Accomack County Sheriff's Office said it was assisted in the investigation by Virginia State Police, the Onancock Police Department, and the Onley Police Department.

Update 4/4/2026 at 4:50 PM - The Accomack County Sheriff's Office has released a brief update stating that Noah Christopher Lamphier, 28, of New Church, Virginia, has been taken into custody.
