Talbot Co. Man Arrested After Traffic Stop Turns Disorderly

Talbot County, MD - On July 31, 2026, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office stopped a vehicle on Black Dog Alley for a moving violation. During the stop, a passenger in the vehicle was seen throwing a glass bottle out of the window.

The passenger then got out of the vehicle and walked to a nearby home. He acted in a disorderly manner, which led the homeowner to call 911.

Deputies identified the passenger as Paul Baynard III, 50, of Cordova, MD. Baynard continued to act disorderly and would not follow the deputies' lawful orders.

Baynard was placed under arrest. He was charged with disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, failure to obey a lawful order and littering.

He was taken to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing. Baynard had an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner and was released on a $500.00 unsecured bond.
