Talbot County Man Arrested on Assault and Theft Charges

Talbot County, MD - Deputies with the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested a Denton man this week on assault and theft charges. Larry Samuel Britt, 42, was taken into custody on July 24, 2026.

The arrest followed a warrant issued that same day by the District Court for Talbot County.

The warrant charged Britt with assault and theft. Deputies took him into custody and transported him to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing. From there, he had his initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

Britt is currently being held pending further action by the courts. No additional details have been released about the specific circumstances surrounding the charges.
