Talbot County Sheriff's Office Executes Arrest Warrant for St. Michaels Woman
Talbot County, MD - On March 10, 2026, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested 39-year-old Dawn Shaylee Harris of St. Michaels, Maryland. The arrest was executed after the District Court for Talbot County issued a warrant earlier that day.
Under this warrant, Harris was charged with assault, false imprisonment, and malicious destruction of property.
During the apprehension, Harris physically resisted the responding deputies. As a result of these actions, an additional charge of resisting a lawful arrest was filed against her.
Once Harris was taken into custody, deputies discovered that she was suffering from injuries.
These injuries were determined to be the result of a previous assault that was entirely unrelated to her current arrest.
For medical evaluation and treatment, Harris was transported to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton. She was officially admitted to the medical facility.
Later, Harris was seen by a District Court Commissioner to proceed with the legal process.
