Teen Apprehended by Easton Police Following Vehicle Break-Ins

Talbot County, MD - On April 14, 2026, at approximately 9:50 a.m., officers from the Easton Police Department were dispatched to the area of Superior Circle in Easton, Maryland. The response was initiated after a witness reported observing a subject entering several parked vehicles.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers encountered an individual who matched the physical description provided by the witness. The suspect was subsequently identified as a 15-year-old resident of Talbot County.

During the preliminary investigation, surveillance video from the surrounding area was obtained by law enforcement. The footage captured the teenager actively entering the vehicles.

Following the apprehension, the juvenile was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services. The individual was subsequently released to the custody of a parent.

The Easton Police Department reminds all citizens to consistently lock their vehicles. Furthermore, residents are advised not to leave any valuables unsecured inside their vehicles.
