Three Arrested After Break-In at Vacant Seaford Home
Seaford, DE - On September 12, 2026, at approximately 9:07 a.m., Seaford Police officers responded to a reported burglary in progress at a vacant residence in the 100 block of N Market Street. The caller said three individuals were inside the building.
Officers surrounded the residence and went inside. They found three individuals inside and took all of them into custody without incident.
During the investigation, officers found that the individuals had plugged a cell phone charger into an outlet. They were using electricity inside the vacant home.
The individuals, ages 54, 18, and 19, were arrested. Warrants were obtained for all three.
Each was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court. All three were released on $8,000 unsecured bail.
As a condition of their release, each was ordered to have no contact with the property or its owner.
