Talbot County, MD - On August 24, 2026, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested Christopher Michael Mack, 52, of Tilghman, MD.

The arrest came after a District Court Commissioner issued a warrant for Mack on August 22, 2026. He was charged with first and second degree assault, along with reckless endangerment.

The charges stem from an incident that happened on August 18, 2026. Officials say it took place at an establishment on Tilghman Island.

Mack was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing. He then had an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

Mack was originally ordered to be held on no bond from the District Court Commissioner.

On August 25, 2026, Mack appeared before the District Court of Maryland for Talbot County in front of the Honorable Karen R. Ketterman. Judge Ketterman allowed Mack to be released on an unsecured personal bond of $30,000.
