Two Delmar Men Arrested After Golden Lane Fight
Delmar, DE - Two Delmar men are facing charges after police say they got into a fight with each other. The incident happened at a home on Golden Lane in Sussex County, Delaware.
Delmar Police officers responded to Golden Lane on July 15, 2026 for a report of a fight in progress. When officers arrived, they found Eric Dorsey and James Reuter Jr. arguing.
Officers looked into what happened and determined both men had assaulted each other during the dispute.
Based on their investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for both men. Each was charged with offensive touching.
The warrants were served the next day, on July 16, 2026. Officers returned to the same Golden Lane address to take both men into custody.
Dorsey and Reuter Jr. were both on scene when officers arrived to serve the warrants. They were placed under arrest without further incident.
Both men were then taken before a Justice of the Peace court. They were released from custody and given a future court date to answer to the charges.
