Two Sheds Burn in Overnight Greensboro Fire
Caroline County, MD - On Thursday, October 8, 2026, at approximately 3:03 a.m., the Greensboro Volunteer Fire Company responded to the 13000 block of Greensboro Road, Greensboro, MD for a structure fire. Two sheds on the Caroline County property were on fire.
A neighbor was the one who spotted the flames. Five firefighters answered the one-alarm call.
Crews had the fire under control in about 10 minutes. No one was hurt, and no one had to leave their home.
According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal, the fire caused an estimated $10,000 in damage. That amount covers the two sheds and everything inside them.
Fire officials have not said where or how the fire started. Both the cause and the spot where it began are still under investigation. No arrests have been made.
