Two Suspects Arrested After Assault in Princess Anne

Somerset County, MD - Two people are behind bars following an assault in Princess Anne late Monday night.

Officers from the Princess Anne Police Department responded to the area of Somerset Avenue and Mt. Vernon Road in Princess Anne, Somerset County, Maryland at around 10:18 p.m. on May 25, 2026. The call came in as a violent physical altercation involving multiple individuals.

Responding officers moved quickly. Within minutes, two suspects matching witness descriptions were located near a Royal Farms and taken into custody without incident.

The suspects were identified as Tileah Miller, a 20-year old female from Princess Anne, MD, and Joseph Pointdujour, a 20-year old male, also from Princess Anne, MD.

Investigators determined that a victim had been assaulted during the incident. The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. As of the latest update, the victim is listed in stable condition.

Miller was charged with First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Concealed Dangerous Weapon and Violating a Protection Order.

Pointdujour was charged with First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and Concealed Dangerous Weapon.

Additional charges may be added as a result of the investigation.

The two were transported to the Somerset County Detention Center, where they were held with no bond.

It should be noted that Miller has open charges in the Somerset County Court System from April 24, 2026 with the charges being Violation of a Protection Order, Second Degree Assault and Malicious Destruction of Property.
