Wicomico County, MD - The Wicomico County Fair is returning to WinterPlace Park in Salisbury Aug. 14-16, 2026. This year's event marks 90 years of fair tradition on the shore.

The fair is produced by Wicomico Farm & Home Show and Wicomico County. It is presented by Perdue, Toyota, Piedmont, Baths by Spicer Bros., IBEW and Carter Machinery.

Zach Evans, chairman of the Wicomico County Fair, shared his thoughts on this year's milestone anniversary. "The Fair serves to showcase the importance of agriculture on the shore in a family-friendly atmosphere," Evans said. "We are honored to be celebrating our 90th anniversary, and grateful to the community for continuing to support the event."

A number of longtime favorites are set to return this year. Those include the Maryland High School Rodeo, mounted shooters, and 4-H and FFA competitions for local youth.

Livestock shows will also be back on the schedule. Fairgoers can once again test their appetite at the watermelon, pie and hot wing eating contests.

Families can visit the petting farm or catch the annual duck races. Car shows, live music and vendors will fill out the grounds all weekend long.

Fireworks will light up the sky on Friday night, continuing one of the fair's most popular traditions. Amusement rides are also making a comeback this year after being absent in recent fairs.

Another new addition is live music from Jimmy Charles on Friday evening. Organizers say the addition is meant to add even more energy to opening night.

Admission and parking are free for all three days of the fair. More information, including a full schedule of events, can be found at www.WicomicoFair.com.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will officially kick off the 90th anniversary celebration on Friday, Aug. 14 at 5 p.m. Members of the media are encouraged to attend.
