Wicomico Deputies Arrest Three in Illegal Gun Investigation

Salisbury, MD - At approximately 12:53 a.m. on June 26, 2026, deputies with the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office responded to the 400 block of Patrick Avenue for a 911 call reporting a gunshot. Deputies found that a bullet had gone through the wall of a neighboring home, through the kitchen, off a table, through the ceiling and attic, and out the roof. No one was hurt.

Deputies spoke with the occupants of the home where the shot appeared to have come from. Detectives got consent to search the residence.

The search turned up ammunition, a handgun magazine, an un-serialized suppressor, and evidence connected to controlled dangerous substances.

During the investigation, Emarion Jones told detectives he accidentally fired a gun inside the home while handling it. He said he took the gun out of the house afterward and tried to get rid of it. Jones was arrested and charged. He is being held without bond.

Detectives also got search warrants for two vehicles tied to the case. A search of a 2015 Dodge Durango turned up a loaded Glock 19 9mm handgun with a 50-round drum magazine, a loaded Taurus G2C 9mm handgun with an extended magazine, a loaded Glock 42 .380 caliber handgun with an extended magazine, and a loaded Masterpiece Arms 9mm pistol with an extended magazine.

Deputies also found an un-serialized AR-style 5.56 rifle with two taped-together 30-round magazines, along with numerous other loaded extended magazines and ammunition.

Testing later showed the Glock 19 had been illegally modified to fire fully automatic. Detectives also recovered an unmarked suppressor that fit both the modified Glock 19 and the Masterpiece Arms 9mm pistol.

As the investigation continued, detectives obtained arrest warrants for two more people. On July 29, 2026, the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force found and arrested I'yonna Wilson in Salisbury without incident. She was taken to the Wicomico County Detention Center, where she is being held without bond.

On August 4, 2026, La'Quandre Jackson turned himself in to the Talbot County Sheriff's Office and was served with his outstanding warrant. Jackson is also being held without bond.

The investigation remains active. Detectives expect additional charges as they continue reviewing digital evidence and other leads.
