Wicomico Rec & Parks Brings Back Summer Sports Camps

Wicomico County, MD - Wicomico Recreation & Parks is offering a full lineup of summer sports camps for kids and teens this year. From flag football to disc golf, there is something for athletes of all ages and skill levels.

Registration is open now at WicomicoRecandParks.org or in person at the Wicomico Civic Center box office, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The first camp of the summer is the Wicomico Youth Flag Football Summer Camp, running June 22 through 24. The camp is open to all skill levels and focuses on building football knowledge and game strategy. The cost is $90 and includes a camp t-shirt.

Shore Soccer Summer Camp follows July 6 through 9. Campers will work on fundamental skills through age-appropriate drills and game situations. Registration is $140 per camper.

Disc Golf 101 gives kids a chance to try something different. The three-day camp runs July 20 through 22 and introduces the basics of disc golf in a fun, no-pressure setting. The cost is $45 per participant.

Shore Volleyball Camp is scheduled for July 29 through 31 and welcomes boys and girls ages 8 through 16. The camp teaches fundamental volleyball skills in a supportive environment. The cost is $150 and includes a t-shirt.

August brings two camps running at the same time. The Eastern Shore Elite Volleyball Academy runs August 3 through 5 for players ages 13 through 18. This three-day intensive program focuses on skill development and prepares athletes for the upcoming 2026 high school season. The cost is $150 per participant and includes a t-shirt.

Also starting August 3 is the All-Sports Camp, which wraps up August 7. Campers get to try basketball, baseball, golf, floor hockey, and more before capping the week with an Olympic-style competition. The cost is $75 per participant.
