Wicomico Releases 2026 Summer School Bus Schedule
Wicomico County, MD - Wicomico County Public Schools has released the bus schedule for the 2026 Secondary Summer School program. Parents and students should take note of pickup times and locations before the program kicks off later this month. The schedule covers both middle and high school students.
This year's Secondary Summer School will be held at two locations. Middle school students will attend at CHOICES, while high school students will head to the Parkside Schumaker Complex. Bus arrival times differ slightly between the two sites.
Buses are expected to arrive at Parkside Schumaker Complex between 8:15 and 8:30 AM. Buses for CHOICES will arrive a bit later, between 8:45 and 9:00 AM. Dismissal times are set for 1:00 PM at CHOICES and 1:30 PM at Parkside Schumaker.
The program officially begins Monday, June 29, and wraps up Thursday, July 30. Classes will run Monday through Thursday each week, so there's no summer school on Fridays. Mark your calendars accordingly.
Transportation will be provided to and from designated pickup locations at various Wicomico County schools. Parents are encouraged to choose the collector stop closest to their home. It's a good reminder that supervising students while they wait for the bus is a parental responsibility.
Bus assignments are based on the address information already on file with the school. If anything needs to be corrected or updated, families should reach out to the school directly rather than the bus contractor. The school will then pass along any changes to the appropriate bus company.
