Worcester County Fair Returns to Snow Hill This August

Worcester County, MD - The Worcester County Fair is coming back to John Walter Smith Park in Snow Hill from August 7-9, 2026. Admission is free, and there's something for everyone throughout the three-day event. Whether you love animals, food, or live music, this fair has it all.

Fair hours are Friday from 4-8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. That gives families plenty of time to explore everything the fair has to offer. Plan your visit around your favorite events.

"We're thrilled to welcome the community back to the Worcester County Fair for the third consecutive year," said Worcester County Recreation & Parks Special Events Manager Kyle Jarmon. "The fair celebrates Worcester County's rich agricultural heritage while creating new traditions through entertainment, friendly competition, and family experiences."

This year's fair is packed with livestock exhibits, 4-H cooking demonstrations, and robot and drone displays. Live music, contests, and family activities round out the weekend. There's truly something for every age group.

Want to test your skills? Try the Farmer Olympics, Pipeline Eating Contest, Turkey Calling Competition, or the cornhole tournament. If you'd rather watch, don't miss the Catfish Races, cake auction, Wheels That Heal Car Show, and Ocean City Jeep Club Show.

Local food, drinks, and interactive exhibits will keep everyone entertained all weekend long. There's plenty to see, taste, and try. You won't run out of things to do.

Music lovers are in for a treat with free concerts all weekend. The lineup includes the Leo Brooks Band, Ashley Wineland, Earth Jam, Free State Country Band, and the OCMD Boogiemen. Grab a seat and enjoy the show, no ticket required.

The always-popular Worcester County Catfish Races return Friday and Saturday. Entry costs just $5, and the fastest fish wins its owner a $500 cash prize. It's a fair tradition you won't want to miss.

Kids will love the Kids Zone, with face painting, the Fish-On Fishing Tank, and bounce houses.

There's also a straw maze and free carnival games to keep the little ones busy. Saturday brings even more fun with watermelon eating, pie eating, greasy watermelon races, sack races, three-legged races, and donut-on-a-string challenges.

Looking to shop? More than 50 vendors will be on hand selling handcrafted goods, local services, specialty foods, and adult beverages. Food trucks will also be serving up plenty of tasty options.

Don't skip the indoor exhibits at the Worcester County Recreation Center, featuring entries from local residents. It's a great way to see the talent right here in our own community.
