How far in advance should I book a reservation at Ottertail Pet Resort?
Ottertail Pet Resort recommends booking as early as possible, especially for weekends and holiday/summer weeks, which are typically reserved at least 5 weeks ahead of time.
What is the cancellation policy at Ottertail Pet Resort?
Ottertail Pet Resort has a 7-day cancellation/change policy. Any changes must be communicated via phone or email and confirmed by OTPR.
What is the vaccination and flea prevention requirements at Ottertail Pet Resort?
For dogs, we require DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella (within the last 6 months).
For cats, FVRCP and Rabies are required.
All pets must be on an approved flea prevention product.

Can I bring my pet’s food?
Yes, bringing food from home is preferred and should be packaged in disposable bags. We also offer Purina Pro Plan dry kibble at $5 per day.
Do you offer grooming services at Ottertail Pet Resort?
Yes, we offer bath services that include a wash, ear cleaning, and light blow dry/brushing. Pedicures are available for $20. Grooming is exclusively for overnight boarding clients.
Can I tour the facility at Ottertail Pet Resort?
Yes, tours are available by appointment. Please do not bring pets along for the tour.
