New Castle County, DE - On June 11, 2025, Nola Dinkins, a 3-year-old girl, was abducted at gunpoint. According to the New Castle County Police Department in Delaware, the incident occurred around 7:16 PM in the 500 block of Gender Road, in Newark, Delaware.

The child was with her mother, who had pulled over on the side of the road to comfort Nola, who was upset. While the mother was speaking with her, the suspect approached and abducted Nola Dinkins.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s, with a bald head and possibly some "peach fuzz" on top. He was wearing a black hoodie and gray basketball shorts. He may have been driving a dark-colored Ford or Chevy SUV, which had dirt or rust on its exterior. A white female was reported to be operating the SUV.

Nola Dinkins is described as a black female, standing 3 feet tall and weighing 25 pounds. Her hair is black and styled in a bun. At the time of her abduction, she was wearing a white T-shirt, black leggings, and white shoes.

Update 6/11/2025 at 11:26 AM - The Amber Alert for Nola Dinkins has been canceled. Law enforcement have stated that the original report by the childs family was false and now a homicide investigation is underway by the Maryland State Police.
