Easton, MD - Easton law enforcement officials have successfully apprehended three suspects involved in a bank robbery at BayVanguard Bank, located at 501 Idlewild Avenue, Easton, Maryland. The incident, which occurred on June 2, 2025, resulted in the theft of an undisclosed amount of money, but thankfully, no injuries were reported among bank employees.

According to officers from the Easton Police Department, the primary suspect, identified as Deondre Williams, entered the bank around 2:35 p.m. He was described as an African-American male wearing a white long-sleeve shirt, white pants, black shoes, a black sling bag, a lime green baseball cap, and sunglasses.

Williams, believed to be in his 30s, had a thin build and a goatee. He approached a teller, presented a note demanding money, and brandished a firearm.

After obtaining the cash, he fled the scene on foot, heading toward Idlewild Park.

The Easton Police Department enlisted the Maryland State Police Crime Scene Unit to process evidence at the site.

Additional support was provided by the Caroline County Sheriff's Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), which collaborated to track and investigate the case.

Surveillance footage obtained during the investigation revealed Williams entering a vehicle parked on Idlewild Avenue. Further inquiries identified two accomplices, Makhyla Jenkins and Jeremiah Carter, who had driven Williams to the location.

After the robbery, Jenkins reportedly dropped off both Williams and Carter near Kelley Gibson Street.
