DELAWARE STATE POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING AN ARMED ROBBERY AT HARDEE'S IN LAUREL

Laurel, DE - Delaware State Police are currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Hardee's location in Laurel, Delaware.
According to police reports, the incident took place on Monday, May 12, 2025, shortly after 3 p.m. during the afternoon shift at the fast-food restaurant.
Witnesses described the suspect as an unidentified black male who approached the drive-thru window, brandished a firearm, and demanded money from the cashier. The employee complied and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash.
Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident. The suspect was able to escape with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect was last seen driving a dark-colored Honda with Maryland license plates displaying the number 6DA1892. The vehicle reportedly has noticeable damage on the driver's side front, which may help authorities in identifying both the car and the suspect involved.
The Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit is currently handling the case. Detectives are actively pursuing leads and encourage anyone with information that could assist in the investigation to come forward.
