Delaware State Police Investigate Shots Fired at Georgetown Residence

Georgetown, DE - The Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting in Georgetown, Delaware. Troopers responded to a report of gunfire yesterday, November 19, 2025. They arrived at the 22000 block of Lewes Georgetown Highway at approximately 5:20 p.m.

Preliminary findings show that a residence was struck by bullets. An unidentified suspect fired an unknown number of shots at the home.

Two adults were inside the house at the time of the shooting. Police confirmed that neither person was injured.

The Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit is leading the ongoing inquiry. Detective H. Lingo is the primary contact for anyone with relevant details.
