Fatal Crash in Millsboro Under Investigation
Millsboro, DE - Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred in Millsboro on Friday afternoon.
The crash happened on November 7, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m. on John J. Williams Highway near Layton Davis Road. According to the preliminary investigation, a Dodge Ram traveling westbound crossed the center line and entered the eastbound lane, striking a Ford F-450 box truck.
The driver of the Dodge Ram, a 76-year-old man from Millsboro, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is being withheld pending notification of his family.
The driver of the Ford, a 63-year-old man from Cape Coral, Florida, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The highway was closed for several hours as investigators processed the scene.
