IID Releases Body-Worn Camera Footage from Salisbury Police-Involved Shooting

Salisbury, MD - The Independent Investigations Division (IID) of the Maryland Office of the Attorney General has released body-worn camera footage related to a fatal police-involved shooting in Salisbury, Maryland.

The incident involving the Salisbury Police Department took place on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland. The deceased individual has been identified as 40-year-old David Evans of Salisbury.

A manhunt was underway for Evans, who is accused of murder from earlier that evening.

The IID is continuing its investigation into the specific circumstances surrounding the shooting.
