Kent County Sheriff's Office Investigating Homicide on Lovers Lane
Kent County, MD - The Kent County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide that occurred on Tuesday, November 4th, on Lovers Lane near Chestertown, Maryland.
Deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a vehicle stopped on the roadway. Upon arrival, a patrol deputy discovered the male driver deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. The death has been classified as a homicide.
The Kent County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division and the Maryland State Police Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene to conduct the investigation.
After processing the scene, authorities identified and notified the victim's next of kin. The victim has been identified as Jermaine Lafel Miles, age 50, of Grasonville, Maryland.
