Talbot County Sheriff's Office Arrests Timothy Fish on 22 Count Indictment
Talbot County, MD - The Talbot County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division announced the arrest of a McDaniel man on additional charges. The charges stem from an investigation that began in October 2025.
Timothy W. Fish, 37, faces a 22-count indictment. The felony charges include filming a minor engaging in a sex act, promoting and distributing child pornography, three counts of sexual solicitation of a minor, and one count of soliciting a subject for child pornography.
The investigation was initiated in October 2025. Investigators determined that Fish was communicating with an underage person on social media. The conversations involved sexual acts that Fish wanted to perform.
He eventually agreed to meet with the minor for sex. The meeting never occurred. An arrest warrant was obtained, and Fish was charged with sexual solicitation of a minor.
He was released by a Talbot County District Court judge on a $150,000 bond. He was placed on electronic monitoring with several pre-trial release conditions.
The investigation continued with search and seizure warrants. These warrants were executed on Fish's person, vehicle, and residence in October 2025.
Evidence was recovered indicating that Fish filmed a minor engaged in sex acts. This evidence was subsequently distributed to other individuals. Additional evidence showed that Fish was in possession of child pornography.
The case was presented to a Talbot County Grand Jury in February 2026. The grand jury indicted Fish on 22 counts. On March 3, 2026, Fish was arrested without incident. He was transported to the Talbot County Detention Center.
A bond review was held in Talbot County Circuit Court on March 4, 2026. Fish was again released on a $150,000 bond. His pre-trial release conditions require electronic monitoring.
He must obey all laws and have no contact with anyone except his parents. He is prohibited from accessing the internet or using electronic devices. He is not permitted to leave his residence except for evaluation or treatment.
