Woman Arrested for Harassment in Easton, MD

Easton, MD - On November 15, 2025, Easton Police Department officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Diamond Street following reports of a disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers identified one of the individuals involved as Amanda Smith, a 43-year-old resident of Easton, MD. Another person at the scene stated they did not want any contact with Smith.

Officers issued multiple warnings to Smith, instructing her to cease contact with the other party and advising her that she would be charged with harassment if she continued. According to the report, Smith persisted in harassing the individual and was subsequently taken into custody.

During the arrest, Smith reportedly resisted. She was later charged with harassment and resisting arrest. This was the third time in 8 days that Smith was arrested and charged in Talbot County, Maryland.
